"RESANGELIC" Epoxy Resin Painting on framed glass 50cm x 90cm

I love the movement and unpredictability of working with resin! This piece was painted on 50cm x 90 cm x 4cm framed glass and as usual, I've let the painting lead me into a creation. I absolutely loved the process of creating this piece as I watched an Angel appear in front of my eyes decorated with lacing and cell effects throughout.

This beautifully elegant painting is bound to be a talking point of any home and office.

Resin can be very temperamental with weather changes, inks and paints used, substrate surfaces... It's it's self leveling and it will move until it sets, so it can be quite tricky to achieve specific designes such as the one I'm presenting to you in here.
When I work with resin, I use my hands to create movement until I start to "feel" where this painting is taking me and then I just follow that feeling. Sometimes I need to apply several layers to achieve the desired effect.
